I took a vacation day today so Trent and I got to spend the entire day together. We did a lot of playing which means that we made a bazillion line-ups. Trent loves to "line-up" his toys and then show them off. The process is that he will be playing with something and will then arrange them very orderly in a line. He can be quite particular that things are in a certain order and nothing gets out of line. He will then go get an admirer by the hand and very quietly tip-toe you over to the line up. Then he starts jumping up and down with excitement until he exclaims, "TA-DA" It gets me every time. I went through our pictures today to recall some of Trent's more famous line ups.
TA-DA!
Aunt Sharon and Uncle Ryan got Trent play-doh for his birthday. He wouldn't let me play with it because he needed it for his line-up. I was impressed with his color coordination.
This line-up was very rare, not only because of its size but because it co-mingled so many different things: cows, blocks, magnets and tractors. We usually don't see toy-species combined in a line-up.
Another train line-up, this time outside on the deck in the windowsill.
That is really amazing! What a cute little boy! I think this means you will have a teenage boy who keeps his world neat and tidy!! You can only hope he will be so anxious to show you it then! Ta Da!! I really enjoy your blog! Debbie B
