Trent received a fishing pole from the Easter Bunny this year. He has been practicing casting from our front porch in anticipation of his first fishing trip. He has gotten really good at casting.
Very excited to go fishing!
And to everybody's great surprise, especially Trent's, TRENT CAUGHT A FISH!
He was a teensy bit scared at first.
But, very amazed and proud of himself!

Trent really got the hang of it by about fish #3
At first, Trent described his fish as "this big"
But in true fisherman fashion, it later became "THIS BIG"
We caught just enough to have a nice dinner for 3! It was delicious!
Quite a stringer full. Looks like very good fishing hot spot.
