Cars 2 Countdown

I would like to congratulate the marketing department at Disney. They have successfully reached their target demographic. I know this because every day for the past month, everybody Trent sees is asked, "Are YOU excited for Cars 2? I am SO excited!"

Mawmaw helped Trent create a countdown calendar until the Cars 2 premiere. Not sure yet if we will be going on Friday or Saturday so we are counting down to Saturday just in case. This will be the first movie that Trent has ever gone to see.

I hope that it is good, I am a little bit unsure after seeing some of the trailers that it will not be as good as a movie as Cars 1 was but I guess we will have to see. I am sure that Trent will enjoy it either way. We have had about a full year away from our Cars obsession (replaced by a Thomas obsession) but it looks like Cars will probably be back in the "driver's seat" for Trent's favorite thing for this year.

Trent's anticipation for the movie is even causing some unrest at daycare. Trent came home the other day and said, "Bad news mom, Allison is not excited for Cars 2, I asked her and she said no, she likes princesses better...bleh".
