On Saturday, we started a 6 week class at the Powerhaus called Soccer Tots. This is the same place that Dan plays soccer on Sunday nights. We thought it was a parent/child activity but it turned out that it was really just for kids and they just insist that a parent is on the field for crowd control. Anyway it was a great time. I have never seen Trent so excited.
He literally could not stop jumping up and down with excitement.
The first half was kicking and running drills
It was all very organized and structured...until
chaos broke out in part 2
Trent took being a teammate very seriously and immediately put his arm around this poor unsuspecting boy
Anytime any of the 10+ kids on the field fell down, no matter where Trent was or how close he was to the action he also had to "fall down"
Team Blue was all about teamwork and pats on the back. Maybe Trent will take after his mom and be a future conference All-Sportmanship team member
This reminds me of Pee Wee basketball games. I want to get down and watch before they get too good! Good job Trent!
