Big Boy

As Trent likes to tell us approximately 20 times a day, "I'm a big boy." So, this weekend our big boy got to move over to a big boy bed. My dad made Trent's crib for him and it easily converts over to a toddler bed. Trent says that he got a new bed but really it is the same bed with a different front on it which is very convenient.

Trent got out his own tools to help change his bed over.

Trent's first few seconds in his new bed. The first thing he said was "It's perfect!"

Trent demonstrating how he can get out of bed "all by myself." He keeps saying, "It's crazy, there is a hole for me to get out!"

Trent is so proud of his "new" bed. It makes a great seat too.

For about the first 20 minutes after we set it up, he would climb in and ask me to cover him up, then he would pretend to take a nap for about 30 seconds and then we would do it all over again.

And finally time for bed! All of Trent's friends made the transition with him but monkey received the spot of honor.
